Application of unmanned aerial vehicle to inspection of building construction project
A national civil engineering conference paper from Chiang Mai University comparing small-drone inspection of building works with manual inspection. On a roof replacement and a parking structure, the drone captured poorly laid tiles, walls and welded truss joints. It finds the method convenient and safer but lists concrete limits: the camera cannot tilt upward, thin wires are not detected, and wind or rain stop flights.
